Tirrenia’s green pine forest provides a great alternative if you want to relax and have fun by going on walks, bike rides or going horse-riding. You can also visit the nearby Dunes of Tirrenia oasis, a protected area which is managed by WWF. All of the area around Pisa is famous for its Mediterranean flora and fauna, but in fact if you head inland you can find the colours of the rolling hills of Florence and Siena, colours which are famous all around the world for their unparalleled beauty.
